This one will be short and sweet to give all of you a little break: we got on a bus and arrived in Nagoya four hours later. We had flown in and out of Nagoya on our last trip and decided we needed to spend a little more time here. Nagoya was bombed in WWII and pretty much destroyed, so it's a modern, hip kind of place. It's the fourth-largest city in Japan with a population of around 3 million. We're spending the next four nights in a business hotel--the rooms are small, but comfy and have everything one needs.
Can't leave without having visited the German Bakery one last time to buy trip food. This is a curry doughnut. It's actually filled with Japanese curry sauce and quite tasty. Not everyone would agree with that statement though--Lynda's gag reflex kicked in quite a few times from the smell.
Along the way--enlarge the picture and read the sign

Nagoya:

The little eatery/bar next to our hotel we enjoyed so much on our last trip was still open and we spent the evening there.
